Project information

New Hampshire's news station WMUR, underwent a substantial brand refresh for its annual 'Spirit of Giving' holiday food and toy drives. Recognized for its commitment to community service, WMUR actively engages in initiatives that go beyond conventional news reporting, showcasing a genuine dedication to creating positive change.

In collaboration with WMUR, our design approach aimed to modernize the visual identity while navigating the delicate balance between the seriousness of news reporting and the uplifting spirit of giving. Addressing the community's needs demanded a design touch that conveyed both empathy and a sense of hope.

The project scope included a thorough update. A cohesive brand system was established, introducing identifiers for each campaign to consistently showcase sponsors and maintain visual appeal. These elements are employed across promos, Public Service Announcements (PSAs), Proof Of Performance (POP), and in news packages throughout November and December.

The outcome was a successful brand refresh and our design work added a touch of hope and magic to the serious subject matter, embodying the true spirit of giving through a positive and uplifting lens, along with a clear call to action.
